Bob has never met someone who wasn't a friend. Experienced both in business and in Christ-centered ministry, Bob McCook's background has prepared him for his work with men.
After attending Shippensburg University and Gordon College, Bob entered the retail-merchandising field with Wm. Filene's Sons of Boston, and later with Lord & Taylor, New York.
In 1968, Bob and his family were called by God to join the staff of Young Life. After fourteen years of direct ministry with high school students, Bob left to begin a ministry to men and their families, which became Priority One Foundation.
Bob divides his time between speaking to groups, mentoring individual men, and the administrative oversight of the ministry. His ministry style is based on friendship evangelism. Mentoring seems to come naturally to him, whether he is meeting with men over a meal, or providing encouragement and counsel to a friend.

Bob is deeply involved in all aspects of Priority One's ministry - mentoring individuals and small groups, organizing and participating in golf outings, and retreats.
The annual Priority One Fall Men's Weekends now involve over 800 men who have discovered the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and made some new and lasting friendships with other men along the way.
Bob and Maureen have been married since 1960, and have three grown children, Lisa, Peter, and David. Peter and his wife, Julie, have four children - Katie, Cole, Elizabeth and Andrew. Bob and Maureen have lived in West Chester, Pennsylvania, since 1974. David and his wife, Bethann, also live in West Chester.
Maureen and I have be empty nesters for many years. Our lives are filled with ministry split between Priority One and Maureen's involvement with Chester County Women's Services, a pro-life ministry to save unborn babies. Maureen often accompanies me when speaking for churches or larger events. My hobby continues to be photography and a little golf. We both read and love to eat at new restaurants in the area. However, my most memorable meals are prepared by my favorite chef, Maureen, and served by candlelight in front of the fire.
