Mic was born and raised in Colorado and planned on never leaving.   That changed when he and his wife Phyl (short for Phyllis) were married in ‘76 and served together on Young Life Staff for 14 years.  This included property staff, area director, advisor in the Dominican Republic, and three church partnerships.  After leaving YL staff in 94' he was an associate pastor for Deer Creek Church in Littleton, Co.
     Phyl has worked in the insurance industry for over ten years.  She enjoys sharing her faith, doing things outdoors, especially water skiing, and hanging out with their two children Mickie and Trevor.
     Mickie and her husband Daniel live in the Dominican Republic and teach at a missionary school. She enjoys singing, dancing, and sharing her energetic life.
     Trevor is finishing his degree in history at Cleveland State.  He enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, music and interacting and with people.  His wife Chelsey is a graphic designer and plays in a band with Trevor.
