Dinner on Thursday at 7:00pm starts the weekend. Registration begins at 3:00pm where you will receive your badge and lodging information. You can arrive anytime after 3:00pm.
-How can I be sure to room with my friends?
On the registration form is a space for a group or leader name. Encourage everyone to use the same name and we’ll keep you all together or close by.
-If at the last minute I cannot attend, can I just give my spot to a friend?
No. To be fair, we maintain a waiting list and those on the list are given first chance. The best approach is to call us as soon as you know you cannot attend. There are no refunds, but you may inform Priority One that you are substituting someone else in your spot, or you may use the registration fee as a donation to Priority One.
-Are there any last minute openings?
There is often the possibility of last minute openings as people do cancel close to the event dates. Call Bill Freeman at 610-856-1700 to inquire about availability.
-How much does the weekend cost?
The cost of the men’s weekend at Lake Champion is $235. Early registration cost is $195 (postmarked by or registered online by June 16). You are welcome to include an extra amount of your choice as a donation toward scholarships for men to attend the weekend. If you choose to do so, simply indicate the total amount you will be sending (including registration fee) on the line provided on the PDF registration form. If you register online and want to give more than the registration cost you can do so by filling out the Conrtibution form after you fill out the registration form. You will receive a receipt for gifts of $50 or more.
-Can I be reached during the weekend?
Yes. The phone number of the main office is 845-856-6871. We will notify you at the next meal. If it is an emergency, we will attempt to find you immediately. Please do not call this number with inquiries about Priority One weekends. Note that your cell phone might not probably work.
-What should I bring with me for the weekend?
Clothes: Fall weather prevails with warm days in the seventies and cool evenings. A swimsuit and casual clothes are a must. Bring athletic footwear and comfortable clothes to participate in some of the outdoor activities. There are no dressy events.
Linens: Towels and sheets are provided. An extra towel is recommended. Sleeping quarters are heated if needed.
Store: The Young Life store offers clothing, snacks, gifts, books, film, etc.
Optional: Flashlight, golf clubs, mountain bicycle, fishing gear, Bible, notebook, camera.
Chairs: Due to the large number of men attending this year, we need to put a restriction on the type of chair you bring for the meetings. Please limit chairs to medium, upright chairs only. No lounge chairs with legs will be acceptable.
Questions: Call Bill Freeman at the Priority One - Bethlehem office with any questions 610-865-1700.
