Fishing and boating

No license is required and boats are available, but bring your own fishing pole.

There are plenty more choices
Lake Champion is a great place to get some exercise or just have fun. Relax in the heated jacuzzi. Go swimming in the lake, bring your mountain bike or motorcycle for some great riding through the woods or on some quiet roads. Paddle the lake in a kayak, canoe, or sailboat out on the lake. And if there's still time... get together a frisbee golf game. Play ping pong, foosball, or shoot some pool.

Need some high risk adventure?

Try our ropes course up in the tree canopy, concluding in a 50' free fall into a rocky stream. Take a leap off the tower for a 400' ride on the zip line down the mountain into the lake. Test yourself on the new four sided climbing tower, take a ride down the slope on a mountain board, or do some rock climbing.

Like some active sports?

Shoot hoops until far into the night in the full size open-sided gymnasium with a TruCourt surface. Get a volleyball game together by the lake. Go for a run or bike ride on over nine miles of trails around the property and lots of roads in the vicinity.

Golf at NorthBay

There are several area courses within a modest driving distance from the camp that you can play for an extra fee. Most require reservations in advance. Check out our complete list of courses and descriptions. Or just plain relax. Remember that? Bring a book. Talk to a friend...new or old. Take a walk around the place, or go hiking. And there's always time for a nap or just sitting by the lake.
