Background

I was born outside of Pittsburgh, PA but raised in & around the Raleigh, N.C. area since I was 18 months old. After graduating from Cary High in 1989 I started college at UNCW & attended there until suffering complete kidney failure in the summer of 1991. After 4+ years of dialysis, I received a kidney transplant in 1995 and went back to school part-time eventually landing a job working in the health care industry. I’ve served as a volunteer leader with Young Life, a summer camp counselor at the YMCA, & enjoy teaching on Sundays for the Kindergarten & first graders at my church. [1]: /contact-raleigh-durham-chapel-hill-nc-triangle I’ve been married for nearly 21 years to an amazing woman (Kathy) and have two children, Logan (18) and Ella (16).

Tony’s Interests

I have an insatiable entrepreneurial spirit & love creating new things. I enjoy woodworking, electroetching on water bottles & knives, creating axe/knife targets, as well as working with precious metal clays & creating custom jewelry in my kiln. I developed a new way to screen print apparel using my vinyl plotter and started a business with my son in 2019. More than just about anything, I love being around my family & friends. I’m a big kid at heart & enjoy anything that involves working with kids.
